In her application for a widow’s pension, Sarah Jane Tierce testified concerning the work history of her late husband, Sergeant Simeon A. [Anderson] Tierce, 14th Rhode Island Heavy Artillery Regiment (11th Regiment, USCT).
V. M. Hodgson, who filed this affidavit, served as the Pension Agent in White Plains for Sarah Jane and other members of The Hills community.
