Sissy...Sarah Watson
Description
Sarah Watson was the stepdaughter of Civil War Soldier Sergeant Simeon Anderson Tierce. He fondly referred to her as “Sissy” or “Sis” in his Civil War letters to her mother. "I want you to have that place fixed so that if me or you should die, it will always be a good home for Sis as long as she lives." This 1925 Census showed that Sarah Watson still lived in the Hills.
